CRICKET PARTS POLICY


This Return Policy governs Cricket Mini Golf Carts acceptance of returns.

Proof of Purchase

With Proof of Purchase

Return or exchange any item with original purchase receipt within 30 days as NEW requires that item must be in original condition and packaging, unopened and uninstalled, including all original materials supplied with the item. Returns that do not meet these criteria will be denied. Items returned for warranty may be exchanged or refunded at our discretion. Credit will be issued to the same card used for purchase; card must be present at time of return.

Without Proof of Purchase

Return or exchange of NEW items (original condition and packaging, unopened and uninstalled, including all original materials supplied with the item) without proof of purchase may be made in exchange for an Mini Cricket Golf Carts Credit. No CASH refunds will be issued. These returns will be processed at the lowest selling price of the item in the last 60 days.

Conditions

Some merchandise, including opened gaskets and ALL ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC GOODS are non-refundable. Third party or other outsourced merchandise, including certain Special Order, Commercial Tools and equipment are non-refundable. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Clearance and “AS IS” merchandise are non-refundable.

Cricket Mini Golf Carts reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges at any time, for any reason. Cricket Mini Golf Carts reserves the right to require an original purchase receipt that will be recorded at the time of return.

Non-Returnable Items

The list below provides a high-level list of merchandise that is classified as non-returnable per our Return Policy. Some parts may be denied return because they share the same categorization as their electrical counterparts (i.e. computers, controllers, switches). This list represents most but not necessarily all of the non-returnable parts.

Why are there no returns on electrical and electronic parts

Too many consumers have tried to take advantage of the system. Instead of using proper diagnostic procedures, some consumers (mostly do-it-yourselfers, but also some so-called professionals) resort to trial-and-error parts swapping when they don't know how else to fix an electrical problem. When parts they have installed do not fix their problem, they want to return them and try something else.

Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component.

Unplugging a wiring connector while the key is still on can create a momentary voltage surge of hundreds of volts. Crossing up the wrong wires or using the wrong test procedures can also damage sensitive electronics. There is no way of knowing whether or not the part has been used or damaged by improper installation.

Because of such risks, Cricket Mini Golf Carts will refuse to allow returns on any electronic components. This may seem unfair to some customers, but it protects the next customer who might get a bad part that had been returned.

Cricket Mini Golf Carts will allow returns or exchanges on rebuilt motors and axles if there is a problem with the unit. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
